I decided to join The ONE Group, as it looks an amazing place to work, having a great company culture, and sets me up for a long and successful career within the recruitment industry. Joining the company as a degree apprentice, I am also studying Business Management at Anglia Ruskin University.

After leaving college I decided to go on a gap year (or two!) I went to live in Spain for 3 months, working as a fishing guide with a good friend who owns a business on the River Ebro, in Northern Spain. This involved making up fishing bait, taking people to the best fishing areas, cooking their meals, and most importantly, making sure they caught lots of big fish!

I then spent Christmas and New Year back home in Darlington, Co Durham, before moving to France for another 3 months. Here I was an Au Pair, living with a French family teaching them English, driving the children to and from school, as well as cooking meals for them. It was a great experience!

In my spare time I like to watch my local football team (Darlington) where I have a season ticket and try to go to as many away games as possible! I am also big into my fishing, regularly competing in matches up and down the country.
