I graduated from the University of Brighton in the summer of 2016, still with no sort of idea how I was going to make the most of my Sport & Exercise Science degree. I started a role as a waiter almost instantly just to bring myself some sort of income while I decided what route I was going to take. I told myself that I would only be working in this industry for no longer than a year, as I was far too ambitious to be earning minimum wage.
The summer of 2017 came around and I made it clear to my previous employers I would be leaving to throw myself into a career, instead of what I saw as just a job. I’d always been so curious of recruitment. The thrill of hitting targets, the fast paced environment, the cliché saying of ‘work hard, play hard’ really appealed to me.
That was when I got in touch with The ONE Group, instantly it grabbed me. Being able to incorporate my competitive nature through my love for sport within my work life made it a no brainer for me.
Outside of my work life I’m a pretty active and competitive person. Whether this is in the gym, playing golf or playing football.
