Making Accountancy study work in 2020 (Peterborough)

Our latest seminar in partnership with First Intuition offers insight and advice to Finance Leaders on how to keep studiers engaged, on track and progressing through qualifications despite significant changes to syllabus and assessment methods.

As the professional Accountancy bodies (AAT, ICAEW, ACCA & CIMA) become increasingly flexible in their format for study and assessment, key challenges are posed for employers in planning their students route through to qualification and subsequently managing the retention and evolution of their teams. Specific areas of concern for employers are:

• pace of progress through on demand exams
• tracking students using blended methods of study (classroom and virtual leaning)
• understanding study planners and the timing of synoptic/case study exams
• offering a practical but attractive study package
• making apprenticeships work

This seminar tackles these issues and will cover:

• Updates/feedback from the Professional bodies on changes to exam structure and content
• Modern study and assessment methods (computer based exams, virtual learning environments, end point assessments)
• Recruitment of studiers, building an attractive study package, potential of apprenticeships, keeping students focussed and retaining your talent beyond qualification
