Cambridge, Cambridgeshire- A leading organisation based in the city are looking for a tax specialist to work alongside their current in-house tax team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager you will be joining a business who continue to be a leader in their field and proactively looking to develop and enhance their client and customer experience.

The role covers various tasks including stakeholder management, collaborating with other finance teams and specialist divisions. You will be responsible for delivering effective tax compliance and control ensuring tax obligations as a business are adhered to mitigating risk. As you support the senior manager in providing a range of advisory matters on taxation position for employees you will also be expected to prepare tax forecasts, work on behalf of 3 UK companies for R&D tax claims as well as reviewing overseas returns produced by external advisers. Ad-hoc tasks will include preparing tax models for international contract bids alongside associated tax implications for UK and overseas entities.

The successful applicant will be ACA/CTA qualified who has experience in a tax compliance role and looking to move into a diverse role in industry. You will have a keen eye for detail, able to challenge senior management while thinking laterally to overcome obstacles. This would suit an individual who is looking to move out of practice or someone who has a keen interest n tax within industry.
