Job Description

Our client is a family-run, successful manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Cambridge. They are currently looking for a confident and capable administrator to join their purchasing team on a permanent basis.

This position will be reporting to Purchasing Manager and your main duties will include;

o Raising all purchase orders within Operations

o Manage purchases to ensure production and dispatch time requirements are adhered to within the UK.

o Ensure that the ERP system is kept up to date when any changes are made to purchase orders

o Complete any invoice queries from the finance department

o Raise purchase orders for raw materials and export to the factories requiring them.

o Arrange and manage all imports shipments via various forwarders. Check that all documentation is correct in relation to these shipments and file this accordingly.

This role does not require any previous experience within purchasing, however you must have excellent attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and the ability to work well under pressure.
