Job Description

A challenging and rewarding taxation role has arisen with a global business on the outskirts of Huntingdon.

Taking responsibility for the taxation affairs of the UK and European subsidiaries this role will be a key appointment in a changing and evolving business.

Key duties of the role will include;

Taking control of UK tax compliance

Coordinating tax affairs and compliance across European subsidiaries working closely with local finance personnel

Preparation of UK tax computations and CT600s

Preparation of quarterly instalment schedules for UK companies

Preparing monthly VAT returns for EMEA entities

Providing support on employment taxes

Liaison with UK & overseas tax advisors

Supporting tax audits

Strategic planning

The successful candidate will be a post-qualified accountant with proven experience working in taxation for a corporate entity.

Exposure to working for a business with multiple entities would be a distinct advantage and outstanding technical skills are essential to the success of this role.

Experience of GAAP financial reporting and an analytical, enquiring mind is key to this role's success.

Whilst this role will have no direct reports, strong interpersonal skills are essential as it will be involved across multiple layers of the business both locally and further afield.
