You've already got experience in software development, electronic simulation and CAN/dbc files. Sound knowledge of high and low voltage battery systems is also your forte. If this is you and you have a good understanding and keen interest in lithium-ion batteries then keep reading!
You would be working in a brand new facility and with a newly formed test team, so being a motivated team player is crucial. You would be working in a fast-paced environment, providing engineering support and defining test cycles for durability and abuse testing. Other responsibilities would include:
Providing solutions for diagnostic faults in test activities
Working on live high voltage (up to 1000V) battery systems – training provided
Actively involved in investigations into DUT or Facility failures, understanding root cause and putting in prevention measures
In-depth knowledge of high and low voltage battery systems
Undertaking Risk Assessments
Analysing and interpreting test results
Ensuring safe Operating Procedures are in place for all HV Battery activity
