Cambridge, Cambridgeshire- We're currently supporting a global tech company who are looking for a technically astute accountant to work alongside Head of Financial Reporting.

The opportunity is to lead excellence across the group as part of a wider team for technical accounting aspects while assisting in the evolution of the accounts department for a large organisation. The role will covers several aspects from external financial reporting including annual and interim reporting, governance reports and working closely with external parties such as; investors, exec leadership team. You will promote best practice across the group for compliance under IFRS, looking into required accounting adjustments for acquisitions and divestment; take ownership of accounting standards and principles. This position will work in collaboration with other finance departments as you provide support to identify areas of improvement and subsequent training material.

The successful applicant will be ACCA/ACA qualified with a strong technical background within a group capacity, individuals from the profession with an emphasis on audit will also be considered. You will have up to date knowledge of accounting principles, the ability to communicate effectively while maintaining a high level of service. due to the nature of the business there will be ad-hoc requirements and opportunity to progress on offer for the right individual.

Salary £45,000- £55,000
