Do you have the skills and experience needed to establish the hygiene function of a newly-developed & highly-invested food manufacturing site?

Rather than working for one of the many businesses closing sites, wouldn’t you rather work for an international FMCG powerhouse who is currently opening more sites, and investing heavily into their UK operation?

This won’t be just any normal Hygiene Manager role. You’ll start on a day’s & afternoon’s pattern as the site isn’t fully operational just yet. You’ll be fundamental in the creation of the entire hygiene function, from recruiting staff to setting KPI’s and implementing standards – there are high ambitions for this site, so you’ll need to be of strong calibre. Once everything is up and running, you’ll move back onto a 5/7 nights pattern.

What we are looking for, is a confident character who is capable of setting high-standards and maintaining them. You'll need to be a strong leader who inspires a team to become the best versions of themselves. You will also need to have significant experience in managing hygiene systems such as pest control & chemical budgets. Ideally, you’ll have held hygiene manager roles for at least 3-4 years and have experience working to some of the top retailer’s standards. If you’ve got some high care/high risk experience too, fantastic.

There’s a high salary and attractive package on offer here, plus plenty of opportunities to develop. My client is planning to quadruple the sites output in the next two years - so there is plenty of work to be done!
