Job Description

Our client is a well-recognised brand and they are now looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join their growing accounts function.

This is a highly commercial role that will support the Sales function within the UK and beyond and duties will include;

Developing and maintaining strong business partnering to the UK and International teams

P & L preparation and challenge with key stakeholders and attending project meetings

Working closely with sales team supporting their pricing via data analysis and modelling and challenging where appropriate

Analysing results and challenging anomalies to ensure integrity of information

Supporting stakeholders through budgeting and forecasting process, reviewing trends and analysis and presenting to senior stakeholders

Period end reconciliations between two systems

Ensuring that financial controls are adhered to and best practice is upheld

Ad hoc duties

The successful candidate will be a CIMA/ACCA/ACA post-qualified accountant who has strong commercial awareness, enjoys interacting with people outside of finance and strives for improvement.

A forward-thinking approach is essential for this role as is the confidence to challenge and question where appropriate.

Experience working in a FMCG environment would be advantageous but essential are advanced IT skills and someone who wants to engage and buy in to the business immediately and in the future.

A fast pace, honed commerciality and the ability to look at adding value to an already prospering company will set you apart within this role.
