Our client is looking for an Engineer to join their brand-new state-of-the-art test facility, who can join the newly formed battery development team. If you've got a background in systems calibration and have a huge interest in HV systems and battery technology...our client is willing to train you in this niche opportunity!

What's required:

You would be working in a fast-paced environment and will be exposed to challenges related to DC High Voltage systems controlled by a new automation software - so if you're up for a challenge, this is it. You will be providing technical support for the team and focusing on corrective and preventative maintenance in the lab. You'll be identifying failures and suggesting modifications on test equipment, assuring all instruments are calibrated and generating quality data. Your support will be crucial conducting investigations and reporting on HV electrical systems.

Experience required:

• Familiar with using wiring diagrams and harness drawings

• Solid experience with automation systems in a testing environment

• Experienced in instrumentation; including thermocouples and pressure transducers

• Should be familiar to test beds main controls including PID tuning

• Automotive background
