You’ve always been that person who is punctual, efficient and proud of what you are able to achieve. This position is not for the faint-hearted, you will be managing huge commercial accounts for high-profile clients well known in the grocery market. You will be thrown in the deep end, so it is essential you are able to hit the ground running in buying. For this reason, it is crucial that you are incredibly professional in your approach, have more than just a keen eye for attention to detail, but overall, you need to be passionate about what you do and be motivated to want to develop your abilities within a Buying role.
To give you a bit of an insight into the type of responsibilities you’ll hold, you will:
• Continuously develop and maintain strong, effective relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders
• Work closely with supply chain, commercial and logistics
• Support with the delivery of procurement KPIs
• Process invoices, stock control and stock reconciliation
• Maximise profitability by making full use of in-house systems
