Job Description

Our client is a respected business in the property sector.

They are now looking for someone to join their team in a key role within their Client Accounting team.

Your role will be varied and duties will include;

Assisting with the management of the property accounts team

Knowledge and experience of client reporting in various formats

Production of Client Statements and supporting reports in line with Client KPIs

Understanding and agreeing client reporting requirements

Service charge reviews & cash reconciliations

Cashflows & budget variance analysis

Database and lease administration

Understanding and reconciling lease incentives

Raising tenant and void demands

Treasury management of client monies

Reconciliation and set-up of incoming property balances

Reconciliation and handover of sold property balances

Overall responsibility for service charge reconciliation process

Attending client meetings

Assisting with queries from internal and external stakeholders, clients, landlords and tenants

Liaising with team members to ensure all information is correct and a timely service is provided

Experience of client accounting in the property sector would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

What is very important is understanding how accounts work, being able to work with people at all levels and being focused on working to challenging deadlines.

Interpersonally the successful candidate will be professional, focused and will also ideally have experience of managing a team.

If you have experience of working with a property management system such as TRAMPS that would be an advantage but not essential, but strong working knowledge of Excel is essential.
