I have partnered exclusively with a client of ours who is a global specialist logistics organisation that offer a bespoke service to research and scientific organisations around the world. With the UK office based in South Cambridge this is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking a change of HR direction, or looking for the next step in their HR career or to enhance their global HR experience. At the moment this is a 6-12 month fixed term contract, however for the right candidate this potentially may go permanent.
The ideal candidate will have a solid operational HR background and be able to demonstrate where they have added value to an organisation. This could be through new HR initiatives, or different ways they have supported the client group. You will have two direct reports - a HR Generalist in Boston and a HR Advisor in Cambridge, so management experience is essential for this position.
This role will report into the Head of HR and will support in the delivery of the people strategy, develop relationships throughout the organisation as well as lead on HR projects. These will include embedding a mental health and wellbeing programme, looking over an employee engagement piece and to support the company through a positive period of change.
