Subscriptions Sales & Marketing Manager
3-6 months £140 per day
This is an opprtunity for someone to roll up their sleeves for 3-6 months and help manage the B2B subscription servcie part of this business; implementing processes that will make both sales and marketing workflows, smooth and efficient, alowing them to continue to build relationships with their current clients and ensure they do not lose business during this time.
You would be perfct for this role if ....
You understand subscription marketing; maybe you’ve worked in publishing, SaaS or membership sectors. You have marketed to other businesses (B2B), ideally libraries, universities and academies across the UK & Europe.
This role will be fully remote so you will need great communication skills: replying quickly to emails, and returning calls instantly if missed. Strong internet connection will also be key to prevent a drops in connection.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will help with the current workflow and manage a Marketing Assistant that is also currently being recruited to help with new demand. This is a small team and you will be involved in every aspect of subscription marketing from proposal to issuing invoices.
For this role you will need:
•Previous sales and marketing experience
Good negotiating skills, able to handle subscriber objections and be self motivated
•Knowledge and understanding of the current marketing landscape, including advertising, direct mail, publicity, promotions and digital marketing
•Some knowledge of contracts / licensing
•Experience managing WordPress websites
