We’re working with a company set right in the heart of the UK’s high performance technology group, who are on the lookout for an Engineer with a 'can do' attitude wanting to get stuck in and progress their career into a Lead or Management role over time. This unique company specialises in developing motorsport technologies, battery systems, catalytic generator and platform master control in the Motorsport, Automotive, Defence & Marine sectors. They deliver a range of services, from whole vehicle projects for start-ups and OEMs, through to single component design and development, aerodynamic consultancy, low volume build and full project management. You would have the opportunity to get involved in upcoming projects in EV prototype battery work, and with the small business feel you’ll be able to get fully involved in all aspects.

The Role:

This opportunity requires a hands on Engineer who thrives in a busy environment, getting involved in projects all the way through from start to finish. If you see yourself as a true specialist in electrical cell module / battery pack testing, then we want to hear from you! The role includes:

• Responsible for designing, defining and running cell and battery level experiments / tests.

• Developing processes to ensure correct levels of validation and reporting are maintained.

• Working directly with other members of the development and test team, along with production teams to develop prototype battery solutions.

• Hands on engineering, data analysis and report writing.

What’s required:

• Highly experienced with high and low voltage electrical architectures and systems.

• Battery cell, module and pack level experience manufacture and testing.

• Experience with National Instruments Labview, Veristand and Flexlogger data acquisition.

• Highly self-motivated and able to plan and work autonomously.

• Experience with Microsoft Office packages.

• Mechanical development engineering background.
