Our client who are a global manufacturer of engines have an opportunity for a CNC Machine Trainer to join their Research and Development team on a 3-month contract with the opportunity for it to be extended to 6 months.
What you will be doing?
The client has recently upgraded the machinery in there manufacturing facility, and you will be responsible for Programming there Mazak variaxis i600 5 axis machine with Mazatrol controls and training two employees on the finer details to get them up to scratch on the machine. The company manufacture one off components for there engines and you will be required to read and interpret engineers’ drawings.
What the client are looking for?
Ideally you will be from a training background and experienced in teaching Mazatrol controls for online programming and FeatureCAM for offline programming, however if you are an experienced machinist experienced in these controls and have taught people on the job this could also be a match for you. Being able to read to read engineers drawings is pivotal for the position as you will be responsible for taking the work order and programming the machines.
