Job Description

I am pleased to be working with a global organisation at the forefront of technology and development in Cambridge who have a requirement for a qualified finance manager to join them on a permanent basis.

This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work with an energetic, AIM listed group to provide financial information to Project Managers and Managing Directors enabling them to manage client projects and run their divisions effectively and profitably.

Duties will include;

Preparation of management accounts for relevant divisions

Preparation of Dashboards/reports

Supporting P&L budgeting and forecasting

Ownership of process adherence and improvement within the divisions

Support the Divisional Finance Manager

Continual improvement of information reported including heavy use of spreadsheet modelling

Preparation and support for group and divisional reporting

Reporting into the Division Finance Manager this role will require candidates from a robust financial background. You will have a keen eye for detail and will have the curiosity to analyse and interrogate various pieces of information to provide meaningful analysis to support your business contacts.

We are looking for qualified candidates who have the ability to present information to, and influence, the wider business. Experience in modelling and analysing large volumes of data is a must. You will be organised, able to manage competing priorities with multiple stakeholders, have experience of processing and managing month end, and be able to use Excel at an intermediate level.
