Financial Accountants are widely considered as the unsung heroes within a Finance set up, many of the plaudits can fall to the other members of the team and the technical skills that you bring to the table can easily be an afterthought to senior management within an organisation. This is your time to get the recognition you deserve!

We are currently partnering with a fantastic organisation who are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to head up their central finance function. It goes without saying that a strong technical background is needed for this role, a background in preparing statutory accounts, managing cashflow and capital spend and completing tax returns are things we need you to have. Previous experience of managing and developing a team, end to end Payroll exposure and an enthusiastic nature with the capability of making positive changes to processes and procedures is also crucial. If you have experience of working within the education sector or for a charity then even better.

Your new team will be a great mixture of experienced long term employees, mixed with up and coming junior members of staff. It is a very settled team and a welcoming environment, however a strong and adaptable management will be needed to cater for all the members of the team.

The chance of development will be there as well, if you showcase your skills well enough during your time with the organisation you will no doubt be rewarded. There is exciting times ahead for these guys and as they grow and expand there is every chance you could have the opportunity to develop into a more senior role.

The salary for the role is between £50,000 & £55,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
