In another newly-created role, my Ipswich-based food manufacturing client are seeking a talented individual to support the Health, Safety & Facilities Manager at their new site in Ipswich.

You’re unlikely to have two days the same here, as you’ll have a variety of responsibilities and will need to be able to pick things up quickly! From a health & safety perspective, you’ll be supporting your manager with risk assessments, H&S audits, managing compliance and ensuring a positive H&S culture.

But not only H&S is involved, as you’ll also be supporting on the facility management too. This means you’ll be managing some of the on-site contractors (cleaning, pest control, security, building maintenance). You’ll definitely need a keen eye for detail and good communication skills for this role!

What will you need?

• An understanding of Health & Safety and how it is enforced successfully

• Background within manufacturing/production/logistics/warehousing/engineering

• Ability to communicate successfully at all levels

• Capacity for working at a fast-pace while ensuring high attention to detail
