Our Response: COVID-19

We would like to update you on our stance, ever-adapting approach and commitment to continue providing you with the top-quality recruitment partnership we have always prided ourselves on.

First, we would like to make it really clear that we are open for business as usual (albeit some of us dressed a little more casually from the comfort of our dining room tables!). We have – or should we say Martin, our resident IT Guru, has – been working round the clock to ensure that we can both follow Government guidelines as closely as possible, at the same time as continuing to provide our services to the best of our ability. The beauty of modern-day technology means we are in a world ready-made for remote working and we wanted to take this opportunity to let you know of a few things we have done so far to ensure that we are able to continue working effectively with you.


  • We have been trialling this week and are now set up for ALL staff to continue their jobs in a remote working environment. This means our consultants are still able to do everything they were doing for you before – just sat in a different seat!
  • We are using video for interviews, meetings - and even team meetings internally – to ensure that it is as close to business as usual as possible and we continue to do absolutely everything we would usually do (even if behind a screen for the time being)!
  • We have introduced a COVID-19 declaration for all candidates involved in interviews and/or temporary bookings, to include disclosure of any signs of symptoms of the virus, or the need to self-isolate due to living with others more at risk to ensure the safety of everyone involved in all recruitment processes.


In short, we are still here to help. We are adapting and updating our approach daily; we are listening to our Consultants, our Clients and Candidates and the official advice from the Government to ensure that we are working in the best interests of everyone involved in our commercial activities. Candidates are still looking for work, local businesses are still recruiting, and our temporary workers are still being paid as normal.

We are in extremely challenging times for individuals and businesses alike and we will continue to do whatever we can to maintain contact and support as much as possible. We know that this is an unknown situation for everyone – including us – and whilst you won’t be coming into the office and greeting us with a handshake for a while, we are still here to share a coffee over a Skype call, or speak over the phone as usual.
