You&#8217;ll take ownership of the management accounts across several entities, providing accurate financial information while supporting budgeting, forecasting and continual improvements to reporting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Working within a small finance team in a quiet office environment, this role would suit someone who enjoys autonomy, takes pride in producing high-quality work and understands the importance of confidentiality and discretion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;padding-left: 24px;margin: 4px 0px\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts for multiple entities.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Prepare meaningful management reports using Sage and Excel.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Extract financial data from Sage and manipulate it within Excel to produce accurate management reporting.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Prepare and submit VAT returns.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Process bank payments and manage petty cash.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Assist with payroll accounting, including posting payroll journals and understanding salary sacrifice arrangements.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Prepare P11Ds.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Assist with annual budgeting and cash flow forecasting.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Analyse costs across different businesses and properties to provide meaningful financial insight.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Continuously improve existing reporting processes and management information.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Ensure financial records are accurate and maintained in line with current legislation, including Making Tax Digital requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants where required.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\"><strong>About You<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;padding-left: 24px;margin: 4px 0px\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">We&#8217;re looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent analytical skills and the confidence to work independently.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size:
