The role will involve preparing materials and tooling, operating Mazak machinery, carrying out in-process inspections, and making programme adjustments when required. Strong technical ability, quality awareness, and a commitment to meeting production targets are essential.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;padding-left: 24px;margin: 4px 0px\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Set and operate Mazak CNC turning machines, including managing Fanuc controls and making programme edits or adjustments to suit tooling, materials, and machining requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing instructions to produce accurate precision components.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Carry out in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment, complete route cards, and submit parts for quality checks.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, deburring, and support continuous improvement activities within the team.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Requirements<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;padding-left: 24px;margin: 4px 0px\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Time-served CNC apprenticeship or equivalent experience, ideally with 5+ years\u2019 experience in a precision manufacturing environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Experience with CNC turning, online\/offline programming, and modifying programmes to compensate for tooling, material, or machine conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Strong attention to detail with the ability to read technical drawings and use a range of precision measuring equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Reliable team player with good written and verbal communication skills, strong PC literacy, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled engineering team working on high-quality precision components for leading industries.
