You\u2019ll be working across a range of precision-manufactured engine components, using both PC-DMIS and ZEISS CMMs to ensure parts meet the required standards before moving through production.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\"><strong>What you\u2019ll be doing:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;padding-left: 24px;margin: 4px 0px\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Operating PC-DMIS and ZEISS CMMs to inspect a range of precision engine components.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Carrying out dimensional inspection and hard gauging in line with production requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Identifying non-conformances and escalating any issues found during inspection.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Supporting the wider metrology team with changing inspection priorities and continuous improvement activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\"><strong>What we\u2019re looking for:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;padding-left: 24px;margin: 4px 0px\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Previous experience operating CMMs within a precision manufacturing environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Experience using PC-DMIS, ZEISS or similar CMM software.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Good understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and ideally GD&amp;T.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">Confident using a range of precision measuring and inspection equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">You\u2019ll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities can change depending on production requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">The role works an alternating early and late shift pattern, with overtime opportunities available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 12px;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt\">If you\u2019re a CMM Operator or Quality Inspector looking for your next move, click apply and Kieran Evans will be in contact to discuss the finer details.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Northampton","_application":"kevans@theonegroup.co.uk","_company_name":"The One Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"\u00a328,000 -
