Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales, excellent communication skills, and a knack for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and engage potential clients through various channels including cold calls, emails, social media, and networking events.
  • Qualify Opportunities: Assess and qualify leads to ensure they align with our target market and business goals.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective strategies for lead generation and conversion.
  • Achieve Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in IT sales or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Knowledge: Understanding of IT products and services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and managed services
