Global Process Manager at HARTING

Company Background

HARTING has worked with us since 2015 after meeting us at a networking event in Northampton, just after the Northampton office was first opened. The first role we placed with them was for a Management Accountant and since then, they have utilised us for other Accountancy or Office roles.

The Brief

In 2022, an opportunity for a Global Process Manager role opened up. The role was originally going to be based in Germany but after a few months of trying to fill the role in Germany, HARTING changed the location of the role to make it UK-based with travel. Due to the relationship HARTING had with us, along with the success we had with delivering past candidates, HARTING approached us to assist them with this challenging role.

HARTING understood that this was not an easy role to recruit for and that the recruitment process would be more of a challenge due to the Head of Global Process Management, to which this role will report into, being located in Germany and they need to be included in the process and travel to the UK for the face-to-face interview stages.

The Process

An initial online meeting was held between us and HARTING and then shortly afterwards we provided a shortlist of five candidates. HARTING conducted online meetings with all candidates and two of these candidates were taken through to the next stage for face-to-face interviews. HARTING were happy with both of these highly-quality candidates and would have been happy to appoint either one. One month after the initial CV was sent, the candidate was offered the role.

The Result

The whole recruitment process ran smoothly and continuous communication throughout was clear and concise. The selection of candidates presented to HARTING fully met the agreed brief. And the chosen candidate was the right cultural fit for the role and HARTING.
