I started my recruitment career back in 1998 with an independent national accountancy recruitment business based in Cambridge. In 2004, I joined an early stage recruitment company and spent 17 years working as part of their Cambridge team specialising initially in the Part and Newly Qualified Accountancy market before moving to the Qualified sector. Over the intervening 25 years, I have developed an extensive network of clients and candidates and have worked with a broad spectrum of Cambridge businesses ranging from start-ups and owner managed enterprises through to fully listed businesses across a wide variety of sectors. Recruitment is a people business which is why I love it! I place a heavy emphasis on the importance of building strong and meaningful business relationships based on honesty and transparency. My aim at The ONE Group is to leverage on these relationships to develop the Senior Finance offering across Cambridge.
I’m a lifelong and avid Ipswich Town fan but their recent success means that I can’t get a ticket to watch them live sadly! I’m a keen but limited golfer and at the weekends can often be seen pedalling around the lanes of Fenland on my road bike.
