  • Start Time: 9:00 PM - 2:00 AM
  • Location: Cambridge

The number of days lost to sickness in the UK in 2017 was over 131 million (ons.gov.uk), although the lowest for nearly 25 years, the emphasis on well-being and employee health continues to become a mainstream concern and a consideration for all potential and existing employees.

Regardless of your approach, well-being and specifically mental health concerns will no doubt test your work health infrastructure in the near future. How prepared do you feel for these conversations? Do you have some processes or activities in place? Where are the Gaps?

The ONE Group has partnered with Cambridge Network to bring you the ‘Corporate Well-being Showcase’ – Hosted on World Mental Health Day (10th October 2018) we aim to combine key speakers around the key issues of well-being and mental health with a number of providers offering solutions to maximise your well-being capability.

Our keynote speaker will be Prof Dame Carol Black, DBE, FRCP, FMedSci, Principal of Newnham College, who will set the context and stress the importance of recognising mental health in the workplace. Prof Black was appointed Principal of Newnham in September 2012. She is a past-President of the Royal College of Physicians, of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, and of the British Lung Foundation, and has chaired the UK Health Honours Committee. She was interviewed in the University’s recent Research Horizons magazine which focussed on ‘work’, highlighting that training of line managers to identify and support workers with mental health issues was of significant importance.

All exhibitor sponsorship and on the day donations will be donated to the CPSL Mind Charity.
