Our client is offering an opportunity for an Apprentice Credit Controller to join their team in Milton Keynes. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop a career in finance while gaining hands-on experience in credit control within a supportive environment.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the consolidated invoice ledger
  • Process incoming funds and post payments to debtor accounts
  • Compile credit exposure and ledger reports
  • Produce monthly statements and send dunning letters
  • Chase customers for overdue debts

💼 Role Highlights:

  • Work closely with a team of 5 credit controllers and the Credit Manager
  • Administer ledgers exceeding £5 million
  • Gain experience in managing customer credit limits and minimising financial risks
  • Office hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with an hour for lunch

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
