Location: Denham, Uxbridge - due to location, own transport is needed
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000pa

About the Role:


We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs/IPR Specialist to join our client's dynamic team in the defence sector. This role plays a vital part in ensuring compliance with Inward Processing Relief (IPR) regulations, supporting the smooth import and export of aircraft parts, components, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the IPR process, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Oversee the import and export of aerospace materials, parts, and tools under IPR.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for customs audits and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to manage shipment timelines.
  • Ensure all IPR goods are tracked from entry to discharge, completing Bills of Discharge within set deadlines.
  • Support internal stakeholders by providing guidance on IPR regulations and best practices.

About You:

  • Proven experience in IPR procedures and customs compliance, ideally within the aerospace or engineering sector.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Proficient in using logistics or ERP systems for tracking shipments and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with internal teams and external partners.
