The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with a long standing food manufacturing business based in Spalding, who are on the lookout for a first time mover who is looking to make the transition from practice into industry. You'll join the team as a Financial Accountant and will need to display a strong background in audit and financial reporting.
You'll be able to take full autonomy of the Financial Accounts, Financial Control and Internal/External reporting, whilst managing a small transactional team.
The role is situated at their Spalding office and that's there you will be based for the entirety of your working week. On a day to day basis you will find yourself immersed in a variety of tasks which include;
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Completing the budgeting and forecasting process for overheads
- Managing and supporting junior members of the finance team.
- Financial Repoting and looking into controls
- Being the main point of contact for the auditors
- Continuous improvement
The role is paying up to £50,000 per annum and the client in question are looking for a either a Qualified Accountant or a Finalist in (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
