The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading company who manufacture high performance engines in Northamptonshire who are seeking a Gauge and Calibration Technician to join their team on a day shift.

The company manufacture high value components for some of the most lucrative names in the industry which shows why their staff are second to none, with that in mind they are seeking a likeminded individual to join the team to calibrate the businesses measuring equipment.

They day to day duties include:

• Calibration of Production Gauging - Plain Plugs, Screw Plugs etc.
• Calibration of specialist hand tools.
• Monitoring of onsite ovens, hardness testers and pressure test equipment.
• Liaise with outside suppliers for contract calibration of specialist equipment (CMM's, Height gauges etc.)

What we are looking for:

• Technical qualification such as degree, HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC, or signatory status.
• Extensive calibration knowledge and UKAS certification preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of calibration practices and theories
