Our client is a global business with UK headquarters in the Huntingdon area.
Due to impending retirement they are currently seeking an ACA post-qualified professional to join in a role that will take the lead on the EU tax and treasury affairs whilst also having a strong understanding of financial and technical accounting.
The broad range of this role will include
- UK IFRS accounting and consolidation
- Corporate tax com
- UK tax reporting
- Leading UK treasury function
- UK Company secretarial duties
- Oversight of EMEA finance
- VAT return preparation, consolidation and payments
- Being the go to person for tax advice, strategy, risk assessment, policies and procedures
This role will suit someone who has proven experience at a senior level within tax, treasury and corporate accounting environment. You will probably have trained in Big 4 and will have proven exposure to people leadership.
Recent technical experience of corporation tax, statutory accounts and ideally due diligence are essential attributes.
As well as being a post-qualified accountant, the ideal individual will have experience working for a large enterprise and will be well-versed in accounting standards.
