I am working with one of Cambridge's oldest and most prestigious College's in their search for a House Porter. Working as part of the Housekeeping team and alongside their repairs and maintenance departments, you will undertake a variety of tasks day to day across the College rooms and premises.
Duties are likely to include
Light cleaning duties
Setting up of rooms for meetings and conferences
Moving furniture around the site as needed
Overseeing window and carpet cleaning
Rubbish collection and disposal
Minor maintenance tasks/repairs

Your skills and abilities are likely to include;

• Practical/hands-on
• Good organisation of workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexible approach to the work of the team
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to maintain good relationships with students and staff
• Clean driving licence is a preference, but not a requirement

The hours of work are 7am - 3pm with a half an hour lunch break. (37.5 hours in total)
Salary is £23790 per annum
