Are you an HR Administrator looking to progress your HR career within a fantastic organisation based in Watford?

My client is looking for an experienced HR Administrator (12 month ftc) who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working in a busy, supportive team, you will provide a first-class administration service to the managers.

  • Managing a busy HR mailbox and processing incoming correspondence.

  • Accurately maintaining the department's paperless document management system.

  • Producing reports from the HR system using formulas and VLOOKUP in Microsoft Excel.

  • Ensuring legal compliance for all processing including GDPR.

  • Escalating or referring complex issues and cases when needed.

  • Providing support to other team members when needed.

  • Taking responsibility for your own work including your levels of accuracy and output

You will need the following experience:-

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment (that can be highly pressured during certain times in the month and year), ideally within an HR department.

  • Excellent IT skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Excellent customer service skills and want to deliver great service to our managers.

  • Highly organised with an extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Team player with a flexible attitude in order to quickly respond to changing priorities.

  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload and process high volumes of data.

  • An excellent communicator who enjoys speaking to people on the telephone.

  • Excellent letter-writing skills.

Salary £26-28k plus "very good" benefits.
