The One Group are pleased to be working with a global automotive consultancy business who specialise in the powertrain market across prototype engines, battery management systems and motors are seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

You will have the opportunity to join a leading engineering company who specialise in the design, development and integration of electrified powertrain systems and advanced internal combustion engines, with this in mind you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects across ICE's and battery technologies.

As an Instrumentation Engineer from a test engineering background, you will be responsible for specifying instrumentation equipment for measurement accuracy, specify and implement control systems including PLC programming and support instrumentation/electrical issues within the engine dyno, rigs, battery testing and vehicle testing facilities.

My client is looking for an individual who is experienced in complex electrical and instrumentation systems within an engine development environment, strong problem-solving skills and familiar with IO protocols such as CANbus and ModBUS.
