About the Role: As an International Trade Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in meeting with prospective businesses in and around Cambridge. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver essential services such as training, consultancy, and other advisory services to support companies in their international trade endeavours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering essential training, consultancy, and advisory services to businesses
- Meeting with prospective clients to understand their international trade needs
- Providing expert advice on customs declarations and international trade regulations
- Assisting importers and exporters in growing their international footprint
- Maintaining a balance between office-based work and client meetings
Qualifications and Experience:
- Passion for international trade and supporting businesses
- Previous experience in customs declarations and international trade
- International trade qualifications are highly desirable
- Practical experience with a clearing agent, freight forwarder, or importing/supply chain background
- A valid driver's license and access to a car is essential for this role
