I am supporting a leading manufacturing business on their search for an IT Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience managing IT infrastructure, budgets and a good knowledge of IT security. They are looking for a manager with a proven track record of scaling teams and mentoring juniors within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage and mentor the IT team, providing leadership and guidance.
• Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of hardware, software, and networks.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data.
• Lead IT projects from planning through to execution.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Prepare and manage the IT department's budget.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with IT budgeting and cost management.
