Nightshift Hygiene Manager

Location: Ely

Shift: Nights

Pattern: Sunday to Thursday

Are you an experienced Hygiene manager looking for a new challenge?

We are working with a traditional family farming business based in Ely that grow and distribute root vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, parsnips etc.

Previous experience as a Hygiene Manager is preferred however, willing to consider someone with extensive supervisory experience pushing for their break into a full-time management role.

Key accountabilities include:

• Optimising Hygiene standards through use of SOP's and/or CIC's
• Improving quality performance through optimum hygiene standards
• Improving yield performance through optimum hygiene standards
• Nurturing a high-performance workforce
• Cost reduction/lean processes/continuous improvement programmes
• Improving safety and well-being
• Delivery of labour budget for you team
• Improving the engagement level of employees

• Delivery of departments KPI's and own PDR objectives
• Key member of the site's HACCP team.
• Ensure that COSHH regulations and all Health, Safety, Company Policies and Procedures are followed.
• Ensure that the site is always audit ready, BRC & Customer audits.

Essential Experience / Qualifications

• 3 years in a similar role managing a team within a challenging environment
• COSHH Trained
• HACCP Level 2
• FLT Trained
• First Aid Trained
• Fire Marshal
