We're working with a brilliant company that's doing exciting things in the world of sustainable materials. They're growing fast, making a real difference, and now they're looking for someone to take the lead on their PR and communications.

This is a great opportunity to help tell the story of a business that's not just innovative but also trying to do things the right way. If you're a confident communicator who enjoys variety and wants to be part of a purpose-led team, this could be the perfect next step.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading all things PR and external comms , from media outreach to writing press releases and pitching stories
  • Working with journalists and industry contacts to build strong relationships and secure coverage
  • Creating content that brings the company's work to life - across press, blogs, speeches, and more
  • Supporting internal comms and helping keep the team informed and inspired
  • Managing some public affairs and policy work when needed
  • Measuring and reporting on what's working and what could be improved
  • Working closely with senior leaders, partners and other teams across the business

What they're looking for:

  • Solid experience in PR and communications - either in-house or at an agency
  • Someone who can write clearly, tell a good story, and spot what makes a headline
  • Confident speaking with journalists and managing media relationships
  • Organised and proactive - happy managing multiple projects at once
  • A good understanding of sustainability or science-led industries is a bonus, but not essential
  • Most of all, someone who's thoughtful, enthusiastic, and wants to do meaningful work

What's on offer:

  • Salary of £50-55k
  • 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays), with the option to buy or sell extra
  • Share options
  • Private medical insurance (including dental and optical)
  • 5% pension contribution
  • Life insurance
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Friendly, supportive team with regular wellbeing and social events
