Our client is a FTSE 100 listed company and are internationally recognised as a leader within their field and due to organic growth, they are now looking to expand the Finance Shared Service team with an experienced R2R Manager.

Main Role Responsibility:

  • Reporting into the Director of Shared Services this is a strategic Record to Report Manager position taking ownership of the financial transition projects that impact the Record to Report department.
  • Effectively manage and take full ownership of the R2R function, leading and implementing process improvements and efficiency projects.
  • You will be taking the lead on implementing strategies to improve the accuracy of month-end, monitoring internal controls and risk management alongside the internal audit.

Management:

  • With 2 direct reports and an overall team of 20 people, previous management experience is essential for this role.
  • You will be leading the team, setting objectives and targets, monitoring performance and providing your support and addressing any issues.
  • You will need to be a proactive, hands-on people manager that leads from the front.
  • Using your skills and R2R management expertise, you will drive the team ensuring effective controls and maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.

Skills Required:

  • We are looking for Candidates who have previously worked in a senior technical reporting role within Finance Shared Services for large, complex organisations.
  • You will have to have strong managerial experience, leading a team and implementing strategies and KPI's to drive performance.
  • Professional finance qualifications and strong ERP system experience.
