Are you experienced with Soldering of PCB's and mechanical assembly/disassembly of Products in a Repair/Service setting?
If so, this is an opportunity to work for a global leader in their field in their busy service centre as a Repair Technician.
What will you be doing?
- Repairing Customer equipment to the required standard
- Using the test jigs available to verify a successful repair.
- Disposal of customer equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Carrying out hardware modifications as part of internal/customer projects.
- Working collaboratively with other departments.
- Maintaining records of all repairs carried out.
- Following and maintaining process including Health & Safety guidelines
What do we need from you?
- Demonstrable experience in a Repair/Service Environment.
- Soldering of PCB's and mechanical Assembly/disassembly of Products.
- Ability to use relevant Servicing Tools/Jigs & Fixtures.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
- Use of Hot Air Gun to remove and replace components on the PCB.
- Ability to accurately follow work instructions.
- Highly accurate and keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with using MS Office (Excel/Word).
