My client are successful and rapidly growing business, who supply niche products to a range of industries from Oil and Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Food and Drink.
They have grown from an £800,000 turnover to over 2 million and are set to grow even further. They are looking for a sales driven individual to join them to help them achieve their business objectives and be rewarded with career opportunity and excellent remuneration.
Your day to day is likely to include;

  • Develop Sales plans with specific objectives.
  • Reach and exceed sales targets
  • Develop new & existing business relationships both within the UK and Internationally
  • Provide excellent customer service

Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate quotations for customers across the globe.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, to land sales and repeat business.
  • Travel both within the UK and Internationally to create/develop business relationships
  • Attend Exhibitions and conferences
  • To follow up on leads and progress projects.
  • To manage the sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Provide technical support where required ( training provided)
  • Through market research, identify and attack new opportunities for the business.
  • Build and maintain first-class relationships with our suppliers.
  • Conduct/Create Sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Reach out to potential new customers with strong communication skills.

The role is fully office based from their site in Royston. Core hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday, but some attendance and exhibitions and conferences may be required as well as the opportunity to visit client sites both in the UK and overseas.

Salary is very much based on experience and potential, but in addition to a competitive basic salary you will also benefit from their very generous bonus scheme, which this year was 15% of salary.
