Senior Operations Planner | Wisbech/King's Lynn Area | Manufacturing

Every large-scale transformation project needs a top-tier Operations Planning professional!

This role won't be for everybody. The systems are not polished, the processes are not established & you will need to be the one to turn it into a polished machine.

Our client is a well-established, family-owned manufacturer based in the Wisbech/King's Lynn area. They are known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As they embark on an exciting new chapter in their journey, they are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Planner to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement detailed production schedules that align with business goals and customer demands.
• Coordinate and optimize the use of resources, including materials, labour, and machinery, to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Monitor production progress and make real-time adjustments to schedules as needed to meet delivery targets.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems as part of the larger transformation project.

What will you need?

• Proven experience in operations planning, production scheduling, or a related field within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, from shop floor staff to senior management.
• Proficiency in planning software and tools, including MS excel.
