As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will:
- Negotiate with suppliers
- Maintain supplier relationships, by telephone and email.
- Evaluate vendor performance, and address supply issues.
- Supporting technical purchase orders by preparing related information such as request form, written approval, and quotation to ensure timely placement and delivery of goods in line with project schedule.
- Expedite and reschedule open purchase orders to meet production requirements.
- Supporting company's import and export worldwide Logistics activities including liaising with customs
- Optimise logistics processes for efficiency and cost savings.
- Work collaboratively with other teams internally.
- Recording all technical shipping and receiving details.
- Generate analysis data to support decision-making
You should be:
- Fluent in Mandarin
- A great communicator on the phone and by email
- Knowledgeable about Supply Chain / Import / Export processes
In return, you can expect:
- Salary up to £32,000, dependent on experience
