The One Group are pleased to be working with a global automotive consultancy business who specialise in the powertrain market across prototype engines, battery management systems and motors are seeking a Prototype Battery Build Technician to join the team on a permanent basis.

You will have the opportunity to join a leading engineering company who specialise in the design, development and integration of electrified powertrain systems and advanced internal combustion engines, with this in mind you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects across ICE's and battery technologies.

Working within the Build and Test department which is responsible for the build and test of prototype engines, batteries, and motors to lead research and development of cutting-edge technologies. As a prototype build technician, you will be responsible for preparing components for use in prototype assemblies, carry out fabrication and fitment work required to fit prototype parts and build engines, batteries or electric motors for research and development testing.

With you working on batteries my client is ideally looking for someone who is HV Safety trained with at least 3 years' experience in the build of engines, batteries or motors with the ability to use hand and power tools.

This is a great opportunity to work on a range of interesting projects for powertrains for the future generation working across engine build, battery build and motor build.
