Job Title: Finance Assistant / Accounts Administrator
Location: Wellingborough - Hybrid
Reporting to: Financial Controller
Working Hours: Open to Part-Time / Full-Time Working hours - 25 - 40 per week
Contract Duration: Approximately 6 months, potential for further extension or permanent thereafter
As the Finance Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Process sales and purchase orders and invoices
- Post receipts and resolve customer/supplier queries
- Monitor invoice payments and resolve customer queries
- Chase overdue debts and manage customer payment histories
- Work with Sales to issue credit notes and reduce debtor days
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Upload invoices
- Assist the wider finance team as needed
As the Finance Assistant , you must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero
- Strong numeracy and communication skills
- Ability to resolve queries and prioritise tasks
