Our client has experienced substantial but sustainable growth over recent years and this is showing no sign of stopping.
They are now looking to appoint a Financial Controller in a key position overseeing an enthusiastic team with varied skillsets and experience.
The role will be pivotal in the continued growth and structure of the team and duties will include
- Oversight of day-to-day finance function, ensuring operational processes are maintained and deadlines met
- Ensuring timely close of month end and delivering results to FD with commentary
- Working closely with FD on 5-year business plan
- Leading budgeting and reforecasting process
- Cost centre CAPEX requirements
- Sales forecasting and regular reviews
- Production of statutory accounts
- Tax compliance and reporting and supporting of treasury
- Ad hoc project work
The successful candidate will be an accomplished, post-qualified accountant with proven experience managing a team and working in a divisionalised business.
Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment would be highly advantageous but exposure to a fast-paced and evolving business is essential.
