TheONEGroup are proud to be supporting this exciting opportunity within a charity in their hunt for Grants Officer to join their team. The Charity are dedicated to protecting and restoring our natural habitats, with a strong belief in the power of community and collaboration to drive real change.

Their mission is to safeguard the rich diversity of wildlife and wild places across the region, and they need a dynamic and driven Grants Officer to help secure the vital funds to make this vision a reality. We're looking for someone with excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and confidence in managing relationships with funders to do just this!.

The need to know

  • Location: Cambourne, Cambridgeshire (Hybrid working)
  • Job Type: Permanent, full time
  • Hours: 37.5 hour per week (Monday - Friday)
  • Salary: £26,908 per annum

The day to day

As the Grants Officer, you will be the backbone of our fundraising team, working tirelessly to identify, apply for, and secure grants from a variety of sources. Your role will be pivotal in supporting projects, from restoring wetlands to creating wildlife corridors, and everything in between.

  • Research and Identify Opportunities: Discover and pursue new grant opportunities, ensuring our projects are well-funded and sustainable.
  • Write Compelling Proposals: Craft persuasive grant applications and reports, showcasing the impact of our work and inspiring funders to support our mission.
  • Build Relationships: Engage with funders, partners, and stakeholders, building strong relationships that enhance our funding base and strengthen our network.
  • Monitor and Report: Track the progress of funded projects, ensuring compliance with grant conditions and delivering comprehensive reports to our funders.
