Our client is a fast-paced business and a leader in its field.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their modern site in Duns on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role offers autonomy and the chance to grow in a business that continues to thrive.

Duties will include

• Preparing weekly and monthly management accounts
• Variance reporting and analysis
• Assisting with preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Business partnering with stakeholders
• Stock reporting
• System review and improvements
• Ad hoc reporting

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an FMCG or manufacturing environment and will be happy to work in an autonomous role where things move fast.

Strong Excel experience is important and an understanding of ERP systems would be ideal, but not essential.

This role will suit someone who enjoys getting things done and working to deadlines whilst also having the opportunity to challenge and interrogate the information produced.

Whilst initially looking after one site, there is scope for the role to grow in time and the business has a proven track record of developing their people where desired.

Ideally AAT qualified, people who are studying towards a qualification will also be considered.
